Candied Nuts

These are the perfect little snack to serve or bring to your next party! You can use any kind of nuts that you like. These are also an amazing topping on a salad!



Prep time: 40 minutes

  • 3 cups raw mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, etc)

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tbsp water

  • 2/3 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp salt


Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, parchment paper or a silpat mat.

Plate your nut mixture in a large bowl.

Whisk egg whites and water in a small bowl until slightly frothy.

Pour over the nuts and mix well with a spatula.

Combine sugars, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl and mix well. Pour over the nut mixture and stir to evenly coat.

Spread in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet. Roast for 15 minutes, stir, and roast for an additional 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
