Lemon Ginger Breakfast Smoothie

This was such a refreshing smoothie and a great change from my normal peanut butter and banana smoothies that I so often have.

Ingredients

Makes: 1 smoothie

  • 1 cup yogurt (I used whole milk plain yogurt)

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lemon zest + more for topping

  • 1/2 tbsp fresh grated ginger

  • 1/8 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder

  • 1 cup ice

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Top with additional lemon zest and enjoy!
