These chicken thighs were so crispy and easy to throw together! They were a hit with the whole family!
Prep Time: 1 hour +
4-6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
2 tbsp baking powder
1/4-1/2 tbsp salt
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp onion powder
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with tinfoil and place a wire rack on top. Spray rack with cooking spray and set aside.
Pour baking powder, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano and onion powder in a gallon bag or bowl. Pat chicken thighs dry and put in the bag or bowl and shake until well coated.
Place chicken thighs on the wire rack and cook for 30 minutes on the center rack of the oven. After 30 minutes, move tray to upper rack and increase oven temperature to 425 degrees. Cook for an additional 25-30 minutes, until the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
