These little steak bites were super quick to throw together and the whole family loved them!
Prep time: 15-20 minutes
Nutrition per serving (this will change depending on what kind of steak you use): 430 calories, 32g fat, 2g net carbs, 31g protein
16oz sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes (you can use NY Strip steak, Ribeye or whatever cut you choose)
1 tbsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp monk fruit sweetener (or brown sugar if not keto)
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp avocado oil
1/4 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Cube steak into bite sized pieces and place in a large bowl. Combine paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, thyme, oregano, monk fruit/brown sugar, cayenne pepper and black pepper in a small bowl and stir. Sprinkle it over steak bites and toss well to evenly coat.
Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a large skilled. Add the steak bites and saute for 10 minutes, stirring often to evenly brown on each side.
Reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the garlic and saute for one minute, stirring often to evenly coat each bite with the garlic butter.
